Roche Orchestra

Science finds
another stage.

Roche’s annual event inside a virtual marine auditorium, with a live orchestra and science floating above the audience.

What it makes possible

A setting for science and live performance.

An annual event with an identity of its own: corporate content, emotion and connection between attendees, without becoming just another broadcast.

How we approached it

Knowledge
takes the stage.

A virtual marine auditorium. On stage, the orchestra plays live, synchronised with the 3D world. Above the audience, science turned into landscape: neural networks and glowing brains that a presenter walks through and explains. Private rooms, small-group presentations, places to wander. Access from the browser or with VR headsets. noisyVR developed the audiovisual synchronisation, the simultaneous streams and the live scene control.

Giving it form

Composing what is heard.
Shaping what is told.

  1. 01

    The auditorium

The marine environment gives the audience and stage a place of their own. Virtual architecture builds the gathering’s atmosphere.

  2. 02

    Science on stage

Scientific content unfolds within the auditorium. Brains and neural connections become part of the presentation and its visual scale.

  3. 03

    The rhythm of live performance

Audiovisual synchronisation and scene control connect the live orchestra with the 3D environment. Listening and sharing belong to the same day.
